Citation: Amanda Blanc has continued to steer Aviva to success over the past year, but also kept the flag flying for the insurance industry more generally. She has spoken out admirably on issues such as environmental transformation, work-life balance and the continued problem of sexism within the industry, to great effect. She also appeared on Desert Island Discs and remains a popular figure within the industry, with those that have worked with her calling her “incredibly impressive,” “the best boss I ever had” and “an excellent mentor”.
