Biography

Mike Jones is currently Head of Strategic Projects for Crawford International overseeing performance improvement initiatives, innovation and M&A across the non US TPA business. His previous role was President, TPA International in which capacity he sat on the Executive Leadership Team for Crawford. The role involved the development of TPA business across UK, Europe, Middle East, Asia and Australia.

Between 2017 and 2000 Mike was CEO for Crawford Continental Europe covering The Nordics, Benelux countries, Germany, Poland, Spain and Italy. During his tenure he led the introduction of the Crawford global service line structure, the acquisition of Belgian specialist loss adjuster, Penta in 2019 and the sponsorship of an initiative to introduce RPA solutions to improve customer experience.
Previously Mike was the Chief Operating for the Crawford UK business where he oversaw the integration of the Crawford and GAB Robins businesses and the transition of major clients. He was a shareholder Director of GAB Robins prior to its acquisition by Crawford and where he also served as Chief Operating Officer for seven years.

In both current and previous roles, Mike has led business development and client relationship management initiatives and he has long standing connections with many clients in both the UK and continental Europe. Throughout his management career he has taken a keen interest in growing future talent, having established and overseen successful graduate schemes at two former firms.

Mike has been involved in loss adjusting and claims management for more than 40 years. In 2014 he served as President of the Chartered Institute of Loss Adjusters which is the professional organisation that oversees training and professional standards for loss adjusters in the UK, Europe, Asia and Australasia. His theme for his year of office was ‘Developing the next generation of Loss Adjusters’. He is also a member of the Chartered Insurance Institute and the Worshipful Company of Insurers, based in the City of London.
