Jon Newman

Jon leads the Conduct Risk & Compliance service offering of Alpha FMC’s Insurance UK Consulting Division. Before joining Alpha in July of this year, he was a Partner in EY’s FS Consulting practice, specialising in regulatory risk and the remediation of customer detriment. Over his 12 years at EY, Jon led and delivered some of the largest remediation programmes in the UK, with responsibility for the regulatory aspects of the engagements. Prior to EY, Jon was a Senior Associate in the Financial Services Authority’s thematic supervisory department, where he led the regulator’s work on structured investment products and played a key role in its thematic work on pension switching and customer risk profiling.
