Biography

James’ loss adjusting career began in 1986 when he joined the Davies Group. Since the 1990’s he has specialised in complex claims, major losses and High Net Worth.  

James became Head of Major Loss and Private Clients at the Davies Group with full responsibility for operational delivery of the adjusting services in these sectors. He has extensive experience leading adjusting teams handling major losses and was selected as part of a United Nations team assigned to handling multi million pound claims arising from the first Gulf war.   

James has personally dealt with numerous High Net Worth claims throughout the UK and Europe. Policyholders have included film and sports stars, politicians and other high profile figures and celebrities.  

James is a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Loss Adjusters. He joined Criterion, the specialist High Net Worth adjusters and part of Charles Taylor Adjusting, in 2012 and is now the Managing Director.
