Ed Gaze

Ed Gaze is an innovation expert who is now CEO and co-founder of Innovative Risk Labs (IRL), which is helping to launch Insurtech start-ups. Ed joined IRL after four years of running the Lloyd’s Lab, where he helped bring insurtech into the Lloyd’s of London market, enabling new products to be launched and fostering a culture of innovation. 

Prior to his time in insurance, Ed has worked as an engineer in a defence manufacturer, he advised members of the royal family and other high-net worth individuals while at KPMG, and for several years he advised the likes of Coca Cola, Tesco, and Vodafone as a management consultant.
