Ola has enjoyed over ten years working in the London Market Insurance Sector on UK Retail, Product Recall, Terrorism, Onshore Energy and Parametric. He’s proud to be named Insurance Times Technology Champion of the Year.

His official role is transforming, and he is excited to share what that is soon. However, he believes his duty to the industry remains the same. As one of the Pioneers of Parametric Insurance, He has enjoyed building a distribution strategy for something the market hasn’t seen before, officially selling the most parametric insurance policies to date. He wants the market to keep improving, transforming how we cover risk, and closing the protection gap.

With an academic background in the intersection between humans and technology, Ola champions the potential of tech-based insurance as a transformative force in the market. He engages with many industry bodies outside the day-to-day, most notably the Lloyd’s Charity Trust(trustee), BIBA, Lloyds, ICAN, NGIN, CII and IICF.
