Neill Johnstone, group managing director, Lorega
Neill Johnstone joined Lorega in 1988, shortly after obtaining his professional qualifications and was appointed to the Board in 1990. His early years were involved in the delivery of the company’s claims service, including managing the company’s largest ever loss arising from the New York terrorist attack of September 11, 2001.
In 2000 he took up the post of Chief Operating Officer, with extended responsibilities for underwriting, binder management, claims service delivery and corporate operations. With the increasing regulatory requirements, in 2005 his role was extended to include responsibility for regulation and compliance. He was appointed Group Managing Director in 2010, with overall responsibility for the Company and its chartered loss adjusting subsidiary, Lorega Solutions Ltd.
