Ian has made it his life’s work to build confidence in Financial Services. Confidence for consumers, and confidence for the Banks and Insurance companies, who benefit from the insight and experience that Consumer Intelligence brings to the market.
Whilst starting out as a mailroom clerk, he followed the world of a geek until he discovered his fixation working in retail, in charities and as one of the early pioneers of the Internet. In 2001, he launched market and consumer benchmarking specialist, Consumer Intelligence.
Ian is a graduate of Harvard Business School, a Fellow of the Institute of Direct Marketing and a Best of British Awards judge. He is also a columnist for magazines around the world, author of a chapter in Financial Services Marketing, an international guide to principles and practice, and regularly commentates on financial services for the BBC.
