Welcome to the Claims Excellence Awards 2019

The Claims Excellence Awards are designed to recognise and reward excellence across claims – from those on the frontline who have direct contact with customers in their hour of need, to the nimble and entrepreneurial who are changing the world around us.

Whether it be a town that is flooded or a damaged vehicle, claims service is the point at which customers judge the insurance industry. This vitally important part of the sector has been at the forefront of Innovation and there is much to celebrate. These Awards shine a light on outstanding achievement and celebrate the best of the best.

This year there are 14 categories, 8 of which can be entered, recognising solution based, specialist and team & individual excellence. Entries are open until 13 March and finalists will be announced on 2 April. The 2019 winners will be revealed at a must-attend awards ceremony in central London on the 23 May, bringing together senior decision makers, influencers and the cream of the sector.

How can I book a hotel room for the night?

How do I submit my guests’ names?

Please download and complete the Guest Names form [link to form] with the company name the table should be listed under, along with your guests’ forenames, surnames, job titles, companies, dietary requirements* and email addresses**.


If you have booked more than 1 table please fill in the respective number of forms. Please ensure that you split guests between tables as you wish them to be grouped on the night.


All completed forms must be emailed to events@insurancetimes.co.uk no later than Thursday 2nd May 2019. Please note that due to print deadlines, any names received after the deadline will not be included in the programme or the printed table plan.

* There may be an additional charge for dietary restrictions requiring specialist meals, please ask a member of the events team for more details

Will you be providing place cards?

If you have booked a Premium table package we will provide printed place cards as long as we’ve received your guest names by the deadline.


We do not provide place cards for standard tables however, you are more than welcome to print them yourselves and send over to us in advance so we can lay them out for you. Alternatively, you can bring them with you on the night and we’ll allow you access to your table during the drinks reception to do so yourselves.

When will my ticket(s) arrive?

We won’t be issuing hard copy tickets this year, instead we will be sending you a pdf invitation which you can share with your guests.

Does my ticket include any drinks? How can I order extra?

Your ticket/table includes a drinks package as specified on your confirmation email. If you would like to place an additional order please email the events team to request an order form.

What's on the menu?

The menu will be sent with the joining instructions w/c 6th May.

Can I choose to have the vegetarian option on the night?

No, all vegetarian meals will need to be ordered in advance.

Can I order a Kosher meal for one of my guests?

Please contact the events team at the venue directly (020 7937 8000) to check costs and order any Kosher meals.
