Entries & Stage 2 judging

When is the awards taking place this year and how do I register?
Due to Covid-19 meeting restrictions the 2021 Claims Excellence Awards will be a virtual ceremony. The ceremony starts at 4.30pm and you can register your place here.

What time does the event start and how long will it last?
Currently, the broadcast is scheduled to start at 4.30pm and last for approximately 45 minutes.

Is there a charge to attend?
No, attendance is free of charge and all are welcome – the more the merrier.

Is there a limited to the number of people from my company who can attend?
No, you can register as many people as you want.

What if I can’t make it on the day?
While we’ll obviously miss you, there will be an on demand version available shortly after the ceremony ends.

When do tickets go on sale?
As the ceremony is a virtual event, it is not ticketed. You can register to watch the ceremony using the following link: https://www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/Claims21

When are the finalists announced?
Finalists were announced on Wednesday, 31 March 2021.

When do we find out who’s won?
Winners will be announced at the Awards ceremony on Thursday 27 May. Please note that we do not announce/inform the winners before this date.

What do we get for being a finalist?
Apart from the glory of being an Insurance Times Claims Excellence Awards finalist, you will be able to purchase a finalists package to help promote your success.

What do we get for being a winner?
Winners packages will be available to purchase once the winners have been announced. If you are a winner you’ll receive an email with details of how to purchase after the ceremony.

How do I enter?
These awards are now closed for entry. Finalists will be announced on 31 March.

Am I eligible to enter?
These awards are open to any UK based company working within the UKGI market.

Are the awards open to companies outside the UK?
No, these awards are only open to UK based companies working within the UKGI market.

How much does it cost to enter?
Nothing – all of our awards are free to enter.

When is the entry closing date?
Entries closed at 5pm on Tuesday, 9 March 2021

When will I find out if I’m a finalist?
Finalists will be announced on Wednesday, 31 March 2021.

I’m a finalist, what happens next?
Once the finalists have been announced on 31 March you will be sent an email detailing the next steps in the judging process. Please contact us if you don’t receive your email within 24 hours. PLEASE NOTE that the email will be sent to the person who submitted the entry.

Will we need to prepare a presentation for the judging day?
Yes, all finalists will present to a panel of judges via Zoom.

Do you give feedback on entries/presentations?
No, the judges comments about individual entries and presentations are confidential.
